Occupational Therapist
Our Work
Children’s Developmental Health Institute’s mission is to provide specialized, team-based developmental care to help children realize their full potential. We act as a catalyst in the community to raise the standard of developmental health for all children.
We call our model of care the “Developmental Home”, which we define as family-specific, coordinated, comprehensive developmental/behavioral care. This is integrated with internal and external care providers to provide efficient, effective holistic care. Under the “Developmental Home” model complex cases are managed by a developmental pediatrician or nurse practitioner along with the team of providers from whom the child is receiving services and in conjunction with their primary care provider. Treatment is given on an as needed basis to achieve the goals set by the families, the primary care provider and the team at Children’s Developmental Health Institute.
Our multi-disciplinary clinic includes Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Psychology. We provide appropriate, multi-disciplinary care for children who have developmental/behavioral challenges.
The Job
You will provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment and case management for children with challenges in fine and gross motor skills, visual/perceptual skills, sensory processing, regulation and developmental difficulties.
